Disney Movie Eras: the Bronze era (Part 1)

Amanda and Janette discuss the first four movies in the Disney Animation Era of the Bronze Era! In this episode they cover the first four movies including the Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and The Rescuers. This era of Disney animated movies takes place right after Walt Disney's passing in 1966, so for the first time ever the animation studio had to navigate without their fearless leader. This led to some interesting animation and business choices, as well as friction between the younger animators and the older animators.

Make sure to listen to Part 2 of this podcast to hear about the second half of the movies in this era, as well as how the animation studio slowly transitions in a post-Walt world.
